About OnlinePROMS

OnlinePROMS is a product of Interactive Studios (developers of Patient Journey App).

Since 2003 they have specialized in and produced innovative software solutions for the healthcare sector. Interactive Studios is ISO27001, ISO9001 and NEN7510 certified. In addition to these certifications, their software undergoes twice-yearly testing by Deloitte's Digital Health Compliance program.

OnlinePROMS offers an easy way to quickly and safely collect PROMs and PREMs. With it’s online software, healthcare providers gain direct insight into treatment effectiveness and patient experience. OnlinePROMS was developed in close collaboration with healthcare professionals. 


What problems does OnlinePROMS solve?

OnlinePROMS offers a solution to gather valuable data online. Paper questionnaires are a hassle, sending, receiving and processing them takes an inordinate amount of time, and it is not the most reliable way to send reminders. OnlinePROMS automatically sends two reminders and provides a clear overview of patients that can be contacted by the hospital to fill out the questionnaire.

Practitioners do not always have enough time to pour over every individual’s patient scores. However, onlinePROMS allows for automated signals that can trigger when “deviating” scores are detected. Specific measures or questionnaires (e.g. pain scores or concerns about the healing of the patient wound) can be the focus of notifications.

How does OnlinePROMS improve healthcare?

Both at individual and at group level, OnlinePROMS offers a wide range of extensive reports and exports – from graphs showing score trends during treatment to raw data exports which can be used in applications such as SPSS, MS Excel and MS Access. Moreover, OnlinePROMS offers a quick overview of statistical information on participation and follow-up.

OnlinePROMS also offers the possibility to create custom dashboards for certain specialities or treatments. These dashboards give the healthcare provider an overview of the most important patient scores and translates these into information that can directly be used in consultation or when discussing the progress of a patient in multi-disciplinary consultations.

In order to save time during consultation, pre-op questionnaires can already be sent to the patients before consultation takes place. OnlinePROMS then shows the most important outcomes of these questionnaires through the EHR to the healthcare provider in order for the consultation to focus on the most important points the healthcare provider and the patient want to discuss.

What makes OnlinePROMS unique?

Besides being a very comprehensive data gathering and processing tool, OnlinePROMS can be connected to the Patient Journey App to offer a wide range of services to the healthcare provider and patients. Patients can be added to the Patient Journey App and will automatically be registered in OnlinePROMS. The app brings the patient information, guidance, and support and then in return asks to fill in some OnlinePROMS questionnaires via the app.
